Introducing "DUNK HIGH PREMIUM "UENO/PANDA"" from our Japan-exclusive regional series.
Four designs were released exclusively in Japan, each limited to a specific region: the first "Nagoya - Shachihoko", the second "Hakata - Yamakasa", the third "Ueno - Panda", and the fourth "Osaka - Kuidaore Taro".
This model is designed with the pandas of Ueno Zoo as its motif, and was sold exclusively at five stores in the Ueno area: Mita Sneakers, Yamano Footgear, ABC-MART Ueno Main Store, Murasaki Sports Ueno Main Store, and Marui City Ueno. It is a premium model that uses calfskin material throughout to represent the fur of a panda. The word "Ueno" is written on the tongue and tag, and the insole is illustrated with a map featuring cherry blossoms and Shinobazu Pond, as well as the names of Toshogu Shrine, Ikenohata, and Okachimachi.
Furthermore, it comes in a special metal cage-type box designed to resemble a zoo cage.
Released in July 2008, the Japanese retail price was 27,300 yen.
The soles have slight dirt, but otherwise there are no noticeable scratches or stains; the item is in like-new condition.
